Return Policy, and International Orders

Qualified items may be returned within 30 to 60 days of purchase for exchange or refund, following the Manufacturers policies, as some give less, or more days for the return. Some manufacturers have a restocking fee as it can no longer be sold as new. You can consider the restocking fee as a “rental fee.” You “rent” the product to see if it is what you want. Please check below to see those who charge a restocking fee. No returns will be accepted by Emerson WorldWide after the stated return period. After the return date deadline, all returns and replacements must be handled directly with the manufacturer. Manufacturers’ warranties vary by product category.

Step 1) Request your Return Merchandise Authorization Number(RMA #) (this is mandatory) at

When submitted, your request is emailed to our returns department for approval.
RMA number allows us to accurately tract the information so your account can be properly credited. If you do not receive authorization for the return, and an RMA #, you will be charged an additional 4%, and items returned without an RMA number can significantly delay or prevent proper credit.

Step 2) When approved, you will be emailed a RMA#. If your return request is denied, you will be notified as to the reason. All decisions of the returns department are final.We will send you the correct Returns Department mailing address along with your RMA#.

Step 3) Carefully package the goods, and include a copy of the original invoice, and your Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). (Your personal RMA# will have been emailed to you from step 1). Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the outside of the package(other than the mailing label. We reserve the right to refuse any such returns.

Shipping charges will be deducted from original price on all free shipping items returned.
A refund will be given if product is returned within the allotted time period and all materials, including the printed box and user manual, are returned clean, complete, undamaged, and in a resalable condition (including packaging, manuals, accessories, etc.- no marks, tears, scratches, or erasures). There may be a reduction in the refund if we are unable to issue credit in the same manner as payment was made or if there is damage to the material listed above.Please note: if the original packaging is not returned with the item, we may charge up to a 35% restocking fee.

No return will be accepted for credit unless it is in a ‘like new condition’ and is packed in its original packaging. Smokers who return products must be aware that if we detect the smell of smoke on an item making it not re-sellable, no credit will be issued. It is the responsibility of the buyer to re-pack the product properly and return the product exactly according to the return instructions.

Step 4) Upon receipt of the returned merchandise in accordance with the policies listed above and within the product’s time limit for return as set by the Manufacturer::
We will exchange the product if it is your request, or refund your money. (If the manufacturer requires a restocking fee, that will be deducted).
We do not refund return shipping costs.
Your refund will be the purchase price of the item not including the shipping and handling charges. On orders that were sent to you Free Shipping and Handling, you will be charged back for our actual shipping and handling cost for the returned item.The following manufacturers require a restocking fee:

Product Manufacturers who require a restocking fee charge:

  • PAIN X 2000 and Holistic Pro Infrared therapy units – 20% (Exceptions: Infrabed, Infrared Boot, and Special Orders are non returnable)
  • DPL II Panel Systems – 20% (Exceptions: DPL Oral Gum Unit; dpl Flex Mitt;  and Neck Pillow, are non-returnable.)
  • dpl Flex Wrap  – 20%
  • Terraquant Lasers – 20%
  • If in doubt about a product’s restock fee, please do not hesitate to ask

Exceptions: Special orders & discounted, Sale, products are not returnable. If you are unsure of the refund policy of a product, we encourage you to contact us.   International Orders (see below) and any of the Equine/Animal products are non-returnable.

Damaged or Defective Items
If any product is received damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong product, we must be notified within 7 days from date of receipt. Shipping companies will not insure or allow us to place claims after this period of time. It is the customer’s responsibility to immediately check your item for damage or defect upon receiving.Customers will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs to and from Emerson WorldWide. Emerson WorldWide reserves the right to replace or repair.

With these guidelines fulfilled, we will credit your Credit Card. Please allow up to two weeks from the time we receive your returned item to process your return. For your protection, we suggest all returns be sent back by a traceable carrier. * Please do not send any packages C.O.D., as we will not accept product returns shipped C.O.D.

International Orders
International orders are welcome. In some instances, there are Outside USA buttons, or “Please contact us for Outside USA, also for Hawaii and Alaska.” International orders must be shipped to the address on the credit card in order to be confirmed by our credit card service. Bank Transfers are required for some purchases.

International orders may be subject to additional Customs, Duties, Brokerage Fees and Taxes, which are the purchaser’s responsibility and are in addition to our quoted shipping and handling charges. Brokerage Fees and taxes are typically based on the Invoice Amount of your order, and collected at the time of delivery. Please keep in mind that all International Shipments / Sales are final. Any taxes, duty, customs charges, brokerage charges or tariffs are the purchaser’s responsibility, and are collected at the time of delivery. Emerson WorldWide will not pay for any additional charges incurred in the shipping or receiving process.The customer agrees to pay these fees. If you do not know what your country’s customs, duties, taxes and/or brokerage fees are, contact your local office in charge of import information.

Undeliverable or refused international packages will incur return shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee. Emerson WorldWide does not refund original outgoing shipping charges on undeliverable or refused international packages. No refunds, returns, warranties, or exchanges on International Shipments.

Damaged or Defective Items
Emerson WorldWide is not responsible for any product received damaged in transit. If the product is defective, or if you receive the wrong product, we must be notified within 7 days from date of receipt. Shipping companies will not insure or allow us to place claims after this period of time. It is the customer’s responsibility to immediately check your item for damage or defect upon receiving. International orders cannot be shipped back for repair or exchange. If notified within 7 days, Emerson WorldWide will provide you with the means for communicating with the Manufacturer regarding the problem.Since no International returns are accepted, you will be directed to take the product to a local technician/electrician for repair.

Voltage Requirements:  Please be aware that all products except a few are rated at 110-120 voltage for USA use and may not work in your country. It is the customer’s responsibility to know what your country’s voltage is before plugging it in, as the wrong voltage will permanently damage your product. You may need a voltage converter. You may check with an electrician or electrical store for voltage questions and purchasing a voltage converter.
