Locations of the Shoulder Muscles:

Teres Minor  Muscle

a slim, narrow muscle within the rotator cuff, located in the lower section of the Infraspiriatus muscle.  It is involved in the external rotation of the shoulder joint.

Infraspinatus Muscle

is larger and located at the back, running from the bottom of the shoulder blade across to the top of the humerus. This muscle works with the teres minor muscle to move your arm away, outward from the center of your body  external rotation).

Supraspinatus Muscle

is responsible for moving the arm up and away from the body within a range 60 and 120 degrees. When supraspinatus is injured, pain appears in this range of arm motion.
